CO: Zohaku Halloween

Twas the night before Halloween, and all through the house, every creature was stirring, even the yellow electric mouse.  Delia Ketchum was hosting a Halloween party at her house, and all of Ash's friends had come.  Everyone was dressed up as their favorite Pokémon, except for Ash and Misty.  They had dressed up as a Jolteon and a Vaporeon respectively because they had decided to go as a couple.

The party took place in the Ketchum's backyard, and was mainly a dance.  However, there was also food, candy, and a costume contest.  At first Ash avoided the dance floor; instead sitting at a table and eating politely.  Being with Misty had benefitted him in multiple ways, and his table manners were one of them.

As the party progressed, however, Misty got him to slow dance with her.  Although he considered himself ungainly and clumsy on the dance floor, Ash was determined to please his girlfriend.  After a minute he got the hang of the dance, and soon he and Misty were the heart of the dance floor.  However, their romantic moment didn't last long as it was soon time for the costume contest.

Mew sat in the Tree of Beginning, floating about with nothing to do.  The world was at peace, the tree was rather boring at the moment.  Looking out over the world, it noticed the Ketchum's party.  It saw everyone dressed up as Pokémon, and an idea hatched in its head.  Giggling mischievously, it teleported to Pallet Town.

The music had stopped, and everyone was preparing for the costume contest.  Misty and I sat on the porch swing, as we were already set for the contest.  Suddenly, many of the party guests began to change before my eyes!  Every guest was becoming an anthro version of the Pokemon they'd dressed up as!  Suddenly, Misty screamed from beside me, and I whipped around to look at her.

"What's wrong Mist-?" I started, but I trailed off when I saw her.  She, too, was changing into an anthro Pokémon, and when I looked down I saw that I was as well.  In less than a minute, Misty was an anthro Vaporeon, I was an anthro Jolteon, and everyone was confused.

"What just happened?" Ritchie the Pikachu asked.

"I have no idea…" Delia replied.

"This feels so weird…" Gary the Umbreon added.  Suddenly, a babyish giggle was heard.  Everyone looked around, but the source of the giggle could not be found.  Suddenly, there was a flash of pink, and Mew appeared in the middle of the dance floor.  The party goers were shocked to say the least.

"Mew?!" Ash remarked.  The little pink Pokémon giggled.

"Yes, it's me. I was bored, so I thought I'd have a little Halloween fun," it responded telepathically.

"Well we're trying to have a costume contest, and we can't do it like this!" Dawn cried.

"How about a battle contest?" Mew suggested.

"Sounds fun," Gary remarked.  Others agreed, and soon the contest was underway.  Ash and Misty, however, stayed out of it.  Instead they sat together on the porch swing, holding hands.  Being Master and Elite Four member respectively, they already knew they were the best.

"You were great on the floor tonight Ash," Misty remarked.

"I only mean to please," Ash responded with a smile.

"I love you…" Misty responded.  She and Ash then leaned in and shared a loving kiss.   They both knew this was going to be their greatest Halloween yet.
